Levi's Brand Announces Nationwide Search for College Students to Appear in Spring 2007 Advertising
Levi’s will conduct a nationwide search for college students to appear in its spring 2007 advertising. As part of the “Levi’s Style Search,” the brand will tour select college campuses to showcase the best of their fall clothing at “Pop Up” shops that will also be a point of entry for the casting call. A total of five men and five women will win the opportunity to appear in Levi’s promotional print advertising.
The Levi’s Style Search contest kicks off September 6 and ends October 20, 2006. The company will open temporary Pop Up shops on or near college campuses in Providence, Knoxville, Santa Barbara and Washington D.C. The temporary shops will feature great fall jeans including Skinny, Straight and the new Levi’s Capital E premium line. Students will be invited to enter the contest, shop for fall clothes or just hang out at the high-energy venue.
Levi’s Style Search Contestants can either enter at the Levi’s Pop Up Shop or via http://www.StyleSearch.Levi.com. The ten lucky winners chosen to appear in the promotional ad will be flown to New York City. One male and one female will be selected from each campus visited. Two additional winners, one male and one female, will be selected from contestants who enter online. Winners will be selected in late fall 2006 and the ads will appear in spring 2007.
